I really enjoyed this well done Samhain-themed closed-door romance following 3 couples as they find love in a haunted mansion. Perfect Halloween read. 👍🏼

This was a really interesting conceit - instead of an anthology, three author's stories are intermixed as each is happening (at least, that's what I'm interpreting by the three names on the cover and the sheer number of characters). It was, unfortunately, not well executed but just the idea made me round up to three stars.
There is a LOT going on in this little book. There are three main heroes, three heroines, at least five secondary characters that I noticed set up for their own next books. Plus, the authors tend to flip between calling the men by their first names and last names/titles so it gets doubly confusing. Basically, a bunch of guys decide to have a Samhain party at a supposedly haunted castle that one of them has just inherited and they discover that it, indeed, haunted.

I enjoyed the story, but the execution didn't work so well. You have the choice of either reading this as three separate novellas or as a combined single-timeline version. From reviews, I learned that reading the individual novellas means the first one spoils the endings of the other two since they all tell the same story from different perspectives. So I opted to read the single timeline version, but it wasn't edited very well, so there were several repetitive scenes from the different novellas. I think it would have been much better if the authors had all collaborated on one manuscript, rather than sharing a basic plot and narrating it separately from different perspectives.
