This was very cute, loved the wedding vibes. The couples were cute and I liked the side characters a lot as well. I wish it was just a little longer so there was more of some of the characters and relationships. It felt rushed at the end when that was what I wanted to see more of. It needed more resolution on some of Ama’s issues as well.

This goes on the list of my favourite Romance reads of the year. I adored the dual timeline, dual POV. The way this was structured with Elliot's past POV contrasting against Ama's present narration was amazing and gave the dynamic between the two so much tension. Easy five star read ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of my top books of 2023! A beautiful second-chance romance. I also really enjoyed the wedding planning plot.

Having his chapters set in the past and hers in the present? Perfection

Julie Soto has quickly become an auto-read author for me

While I liked some of this book, it had the same problem I find in almost every second-chance romance I read. All of the romance between the two love interests is in the flashback chapters, and there's almost none in the present day chapters.

With this book in particular, I just never saw why these two got together in the first place or why they'd get back together at all. The most interesting parts of this for me were the wedding planning details and Ama's interactions with Hazel and Jackie. When I don't even care about the romance in a romance novel, I can confidently say it's not for me.
