It was good! It’s not my favorite regency romance but I think it’s cause the author is so new.

“She lost track of everything except his touch, the ache it soothed, and the demand it engendered.”
The setup that brought these two together is completely wild and felt implausible, but whatevs, they are cute together. I didn’t love this as much as the first one, but the characters are still hot and swoony. The cat subplot made me giggle. It got a bit overdramatic at the end, but then when he showed such care for her, I was all about it.
