This is the second and final book in the Pretty Liars duet and it picks up immediately where the first book left off. In my opinion, this one is quite a bit darker than the first book. It's a lot more graphic so definitely look at the CW.
I thought the first book introduced the characters really well and I liked getting to know them. I definitely feel like the characters and their relationships were a strong point. In the second book, I think the plot really shined and was the main focus. Although we never learn too much about the experiments and world, I felt that the plot was more cohesive here.
Overall, it's an entertaining duet that is a relatively quick read!
