And the last one from the Phoenix Pack goes down. I am happy that this is not goodbye, since Suzanne Wright likes to pop up with her previous characters in other books from this world.

As for this book, it was fun:

Final thoughts
Sad that this is the end of the series but I'm happy Dominic found love. The imprinting things make me sad and its sad it ended with one but I'm glad they work well.

This book was bittersweet because it's the last book of the Phoenix Pack series. I still have one more in the Mercury Pack but still this series is over and that makes me sad. Although I am extremely excited that we are getting a series that focuses on the pallas cats.

This book wasn't my favorite.. I am a sucker for the true mate trope. It's one of my all time favorites in fact. So I didn't like that Mila and Dominic weren't true mates. The imprinting thing is still cool but it's just not the same to me. And honestly I loved them together. They were perfect. Mila didn't let Dominic get away with any of his shit and when he messed up she accepted his apology without making him have to jump through hoops... which is what Dominic needed. So they were good together. I get that not every single book couple be true mates because I guess some people find that boring or something weird like that. But besides that I just didn't enjoy the storyline all that much. The hit on Mila seemed so random. I mean I understand it.. I just feel like it was a far reach for a reason to add in drama.

The epilogue made me so so happy! I love that we got to see 8 years in the future. I loved it. It was so sweet and also a little sad because I am going to miss this pack so much!

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

I love this series and since this was Dominic's book I had to give it a go. Dominic has always been the smooth talking shifter that has the cheesiest pick up lines ever. All the other mated couples never thought but hoped to witness his mating since he was always such a player. Mila Devereaux has a mate that already bonded with another shifter and the pain from that has forced her to want to move away from the pack. She fails to give Dominic a chance since her heart has already been broken and she fails to see a player as a way to move on.

What did I like? Dominic was a fun character in all the other books just because of his cheesy pick up lines. His relationship with Mila was a painful one at first because she failed to see a player as a respectable choice. which Dominic couldn't understand why she didn't give him a chance. Apparently this was one smart girl because she had to see it, and didn't believe his charming words.

Would I buy this book? Yes, this is a great series that I am sure has some great appeal out there. The relationships have hurdles but the author never fails to give you a great HEA.

Thoughts for the author? Excellent writing, these are becoming an addictive series. Book 8 though? I'm worried that these will be ending and I'd like to see something new come out.

I can't really justify reading this entire series. This is an example of I enjoyed it but I fully acknowledge it's not good. But I read all 8 books so...

Untamed Delights is the eighth and final book in the "Phoenix Pack" Series.
Cat- shifter Mila hopes that an arranged mating will calm her cat down. After finding her true mate already imprinted on another woman, her cat has been going haywire. To make matters worse, the woman is her cousin and they all live with the same pride. Going to Russia for the arranged mating will give her space and heal her cat. But then she meets the flirty, irresistible playboy Dominic. And Dominic must have her because, for the first time ever, he and his wolf want more than a fling.

I knew I would love Dominic's story, he always brought a smile to my face whenever he showed up in the other books. Dominic and Mila are such a good couple. From the very first interaction, sparks were flying of the page. They made me smile a lot, Dominic is just so playful and I loved how Mila went along with it. The relationship builds up slowly and I really enjoy seeing them grow closer and closer. I love cat shifters, so Mila was right up my ally, she is fun and playful but also pulls out the serious side of Dominic, which was nice. Their relationship was perfect and I loved every part of it.

The whole issue with Mila's fated mate was interesting and I liked how it all wrapped up. Dominic surprised me with how many layers he had. I'm glad that he didn't just stay the fun cheerful guy and got more depth. The plot was good, not mindblowing, but I had a fun time guessing who the villain was. I loved, Loved the Olympus Pride. Mila's whole family was so much fun and I can't wait to see more of them in their own series. The pack was so fun as always. I laughed a lot when Mila got introduced to the pack. The ending was intense. That battle made me nervous even though I knew everyone would be saved, but still. Glad everything wrapped up nicely.

The book ends with an 8-year-later epilogue and it melted my heart. Just seeing the whole pack together and all the kids grow up running around was just so damm cute. I really love all the characters, the world and just the whole pack. I'm a bit sad that the series has ended, but I'm sure we get to see some glimpses in the Mercury and Olympus books. I don;t know why I got sucked into these books so damm much, but I really liked them and had one hell of a time reading them. I know they aren't the greatest books, but they are just so much fun! I will for sure see myself reading some of the books, because again, I just love the characters. Suzanne Wright, for sure, made a good impression on me and I will read her other series at some point in the future.
