I hate to admit it but I felt really let down by the second installment. I kept cringing from the millennial humor and just how much I kept remembering how just weird the writing style felt. I enjoy a dark romance as much as the next girl but the

baby trapping was so gross to me

i kept being reminded I was in fact reading a book, it just didn’t suck me in. It felt forced. Hayden just didn’t feel like a real character I don’t know. I feel bad because the first book was so fun but idk??  I love when the MMC is psychotic let’s be real but I felt unsettled. I’m sorry Morgan Bridges!! It was hot sometimes but this one didn’t do it for me.

This was pretty poorly written. There were huge holes in logic. The main female character was being really stupid a lot of the time. Even suspending disbelief for the sake of the book, it didn’t make sense.
