This was by far the most surprising read EVER. I laughed throughout the whole book, which I always appreciate (I do think you need to be in the kind of mood to appreciate it though or else you'll think its too ridiculous. But like this is exactly my type of humor and taste in books or shows and movies etc. I just loved it so so so so much.) It was a mixture of 45 meters down kind of movies and amazing (found family?) dynamics and humor (ik what I mean). What else do I need to say? Literally perfect. Python and Lex are BABES

Okay ending aside this book was bloody good!!!!

But first I do have to mention the epilogue, it didn't really wrap anything up and kind of left me feeling disappointed.

Now with that out of the way, what about everything else?!

Well the characters, whilst sometimes were on the side of irritating, were for the most part really likeable. They could have been created more in depth, but the secrecy around them actually lent itself to the story.

And the story itself was really well done, I liked how it was set inside the caves, allowing the author to rely on the claustrophobic atmosphere and the tight feeling of anxiety in your chest... not knowing if they would get out or not...

Plus, the writing was really good! I loved the inserts of conversation/interview with the various characters!

On the whole, it was an entertaining read and right up to the epilogue I was really glad I'd picked it to read.

For the first third the main character annoyed me so much, but it improved pretty quickly.
Some of the midway plot points were really tense, I couldn’t stop reading!

A YA horror/ghost combo.

It was ok, I quite enjoyed it but it did feel very YA🤔

Really liked Lex as a character.

I really loved this book. The suspense had me constantly reading without putting it down. I wish the epilogue had been a little better but other then that I really loved it
