Relentless Pursuit is not as interesting as the previous books. In fact the story is mediocre. Miss Brooks is smart by putting suspense plot into the story. For me the romance is more in the background.
A long term crush needs more drama/ vulnerable moment to make it work. And sadly in Relentless Pursuit that is what is lacking. Overall this book is not very nor very good.
Mediocre.

Re-listening to this series is like doing it for the first time. It has been a few years and I remember loving it but not many of the details.
Tammy and Mo's relationship is special and I love that it isn't romantic, but that he will do anything for her because he sees her as his sister or best friend.
The murder and then all the incidents that are happening, make this for an interesting book to listen too. You think one thing and then you think another and it just kept me on the edge of my seat.
Tammy has had such a huge crush on Pierce Davies that she never thought he would look at her with anything but friendly acquaintance until he does and that is when all hell has hit the fan.
I enjoyed the back and forth the who did it, I can't wait to keep going with this series.
Loved the narration Eric G. Dove is awesome!

I didn't like this one as much as the previous books. I didn't really feel the chemistry between Pierce and Tammy. Plus I miss all the meddling scenes in previous books with the Rose sisters. But I love Kathleen Brooks so maybe it was just this plot that didn't do it for me.

I am writing these reviews after having read the whole series so it will be an overall summary. These books are funny, heartwarming, suspenseful with great main characters and terrific minor characters (the Rose Sisters...I mean come on! Who wouldn't love them?!). The setting is awesome...I want to move to this town that knows everything all the time and yet can keep secrets! Each character is well developed and each separate storyline is well crafted. The one storyline that traces back to New York is a bit too drawn out (and unrealistic but hey, it's fiction!) but that's a minor criticism. Get all of these books and read them!! You won't be sorry!!
