Beautiful writing – I devoured it it in one sitting. A really thoughtful exploration of identity (both lesbian and mixed-race), familial trauma, home and memories. The non-linear order of the vignettes gave such a hazy feel to the text – much like memory itself. I would like to read more by Bouraoui, and I think more autofiction in general!

beautifully and poetically written, with a very engaging concept. however, found it hard to follow with all the flashbacks back and forth and time skips within those flashbacks.
