With this book being about navigating life after loss, I was hoping to feel more of a connection to the characters. Instead of being pulled into their lives and living in the moments with them, it felt like you were just observing from the outside.

I know I listened to the book previously. But I don't remember when it was.

Steel is fine to read if you want a predictable plot and something lightweight.

I don't think I have been married long enough to really appreciate this story. I am having a hard time relating to it.
