From a child coping with neglect, to a reflection on social expectations, to an absolute nightmare. While it is not a particularly delightful pick, it is certainly a memorable one. 

I will say, however, that this book is recommended too lightly.

I loved Convenient Store Woman by the same author. But this? It's the weirdest book I've ever read. Like batshit levels of insane. And it just kept getting crazier and crazier. 

Not sure if I understood the point of it by the end.
