I enjoyed my extended visit to the world of Sookie Stackhouse... Although it was maybe a little bit overkill.
Saying that, each of the stories were interesting in their own way - especially One Word Answer, which dealt with Sookie's discovery of her cousin Hadley's final death, I thought that was brilliant to read because it filled in a few blank spots for me.
Dracula Night was, by far, my favourite just because I always loved the vampires and it was fun to see them in a different, more childlike and excitable light.
If you're a Sookie fan, it's definitely worth a read.

This audiobook was a compilation of several Sookie Stackhouse short stories.

My favorite: Lucky # 7.1 this one is about Sookie and Amelia teaming up to find who has been going into Greg Aubert’s (insurance agent and witch) office. I loved the Stackhouse Broadway investigative team!

Least liked: Gift Wrap # 8.5 this one done pissed me off. It’s Christmas Eve and Sookie is alone and suddenly a hot were is in her woods and being hunted and of course she saves the day.
Then it turns out it was all concocted by her great grandfather! This mf fairy got the weres to play out this fake situation and to bed Sookie all because he wanted to give her “the best Christmas”.
Smh this story should have been left on the drawing board.

All the other stories were okay.

A nice compilation of bite-sized Sookie stories.

I've never read novels related to some book. So I haven't had any expectations regarding this one, but this piece felt like ordinary chapter extracted from book. I found really confusing the fact that Claudine and Claude sister's name was changing through all piece. In the end I assume this novel was okay, nothing special at all.

If you love all things Sookie I recommend this book. If not pass. It is a fairly simple set of stories... if I hadn't been a fan I don't think I would have stuck with it. I know we as Sookie fans beg for more and more but I think Charlaine could have done better...

Fast paced and humorous, the book contains small stories with Sookie as the main character. Some are good, some are not that good, but it is readable.

I only really liked one of the short stories in the book (the one about Dracula Night) and the rest were really, really cheesy. I don't think these characters can really translate to short stories, or Ms. Harris is not good at creating little vignettes. The last story about the Christmas gift was really disturbing in a icky, inappropriate kind of way and made me want to take a shower. GROSS! I think Ms. Harris should stick to full length mysteries.
