I enjoyed reading other books from this author, but this book did not impress me. This book was a easy read, easy to follow plot line but not nearly as suspenful or mysterious as it is made out to be. By the ending, the murder was pretty obvious. The characters all drove me crazy- some were just plain annoying or clueless. And the ending... unnessary cliff hanger. If you want good thrilling fiction, please read the girl on the train or check out the woman in cabin 10.

Maybe the most satisfying thriller I've read so far.

Page turner

Not as engrossing as "the woman in cabin 10", but pretty good. I wish the suspense had lasted longer. The plot felt rushed and needed more development. Good, easy read for times when you don't want to be overwhelmed with character development.

I didn’t care much about the main character, but there were a few okay twists. Nothing earth-shattering.

Two life lessons from this book:
1. Don’t have friends.
2. Don’t have a gun displayed in your house.
