A broken young woman and her elaborate plot to end her life. A young man haunted by the memories of the young girl he saved years ago from a very brutal attack that nearly killed her.

They meet again in an airport after their flight gets cancelled due to a snowstorm.

When they realize who they are and just what they mean in each other's lives, they allow themselves to unravel and finally find the peace and happiness that have so long eluded them.

I wish I could say I loved the book. I tried to like it, but maybe I just don't like reading depressing emo stuff. Depressing, cheesy emo stuff. Oh well, on to the next book.

It was kind of boring in the beginning. I struggled to stay reading but when the secrets were revealed I started enjoying it.

3.5/5 stars. I wish I had read this book like 4 years in the future.... it definitely was not appropriate for a 14 year old. Once I started reading, I could just not put it down, so I ignored the fact that I might've been to young to read it. I would recommend this, but pretty much only to 18+.

One of my all time favorite books!
Mikki and Crush are damaged and tortured souls.
Fate brings them together in very interesting ways.
Such a beautiful and tragic story with an amazing ending.
I love everything about this book!
Go in blind, you definitely don’t want spoilers!
It is so emotional, so heartbreaking and truly beautiful!

Blackness inside us all

I wasn't sure I would like this book, but the blurb intrigued me enough to give it a go. It took me sometime to get into it because it wasn't what I was expecting. You will enjoy this book even if the subject matter makes you twitchy. Life isn't all rainbows.." Someone wise once told me that not all books have happy endings, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth the read. Same person also told me you should never spoil the ending of a great story"

I would highly recommend finding out about Crush and Mikki's intertwined fate.

It was not at all what I expected in a good way. I was pleasantly surprised at how real and how identifiable the characters were.

Do you believe in fate? For Mikki and Crush, fate keeps intervening and intertwining their lives. Even before they meet in person, their paths cross twice and each time both Mikki and Crush are altered people. Cassia Leo’s story blends darkness, raw emotion and heart-breaking tragedy with the bright light of hope and love. The plot, told in both the present and flashbacks, was slightly implausible but instead of bothering me, it gave the whole story an ethereal quality. A trigger warning: this book deals with some heavy subjects like mental illness, suicide, and sexual assault.

Nope. 10% into the book and I am already totally repulsed:

Doing meth in the bathroom
Self-harm
Dyed black hair
Self-pitying MC

This can only get worse. Allison out.
