This is technically the first book in a series. Still, it is the first book in a duology because the first two are about Quinn and Nick, and the last two are about another character. Anyway, it’s one of those books that’s hard to put in a category because it is unique and kind of needs its own box. It gave me Time Traveler’s Wife vibes because neither of them knows what’s going on. Still, they both had a lot of dreams about one another. Then, one random day, they ran into one another in real life and realized that those dreams might’ve been a little bit more, so in the whole book, we are exploring that, but at the same time, they're both in relationships with other people. Quinn’s actually engaged and planning her wedding when this book starts! It’s insane, but I was pulled into this story so hard! I couldn’t get enough of it, and it kind of leaves us on a cliffhanger, so I instantly picked up the next book when this one ended.

This is a paranormal romance that follows Quinn and Nick. They have shared multiple lives together in alternate timelines or parallel universes. In her sleep, Quinn is pulled back to one of these timelines. Sometimes she and Nick are childhood friends while others meet in college. In her current timeline, she has never met Nick, but as a child, she used always dreamed about her husband Nick. While looking at the reception for her wedding with Jeff she has deja vu and blacks out. When she wakes up in the hospital her Doctor is Nick.

This book reminded me a bit of The Umbrella Academy season 2 (iykyk) with how the timelines worked. I really enjoyed reading about Quinn and Nick. I felt that they had good chemistry and I was always rooting for them. I did, however, find Quinn a bit annoying. I was very proud of her character growth. I just wish that it wasn't because of Nick, I wish that she would be able to change on her own with the support of her friends.

This book had a good balance between adventure and romance. I honestly really enjoyed it. And that ending!??!! As soon as I finished it, I downloaded the next book!
