I read Across Time and Across Eternity - books 3 and 4 in this series- before this one. I think I came across book 3 on kindle and it was free. I really enjoyed that and I am #TeamAmelieandHenry, I'm on the fence about Quinn and Nick.

I liked the glimpses into their other lives, especially because
it took so long for them to get together.

I wasn't a fan of the fact that they basically
emotionally cheated on their significant others throughout the whole book.

I didn't like Jeff, but also don't think he deserved to be
cheated on and the fact the Quinn gaslighted him into thinking there was nothing going on with Nick when there obviously was, to an extent.

The time travelling is an odd concept in these books, I feel like it's underdeveloped and you're just told things and expected to go along with it.

I didn't hate it, but didn't love it either, but it ended on a cliffhanger, so I'm intrigued enough to read book 2.

Loved the concept of this series, adored the couple and the flashbacks. So many questions and wondering if they would solve the problem. Fell in love with the couple!

This is technically the first book in a series. Still, it is the first book in a duology because the first two are about Quinn and Nick, and the last two are about another character. Anyway, it’s one of those books that’s hard to put in a category because it is unique and kind of needs its own box. It gave me Time Traveler’s Wife vibes because neither of them knows what’s going on. Still, they both had a lot of dreams about one another. Then, one random day, they ran into one another in real life and realized that those dreams might’ve been a little bit more, so in the whole book, we are exploring that, but at the same time, they're both in relationships with other people. Quinn’s actually engaged and planning her wedding when this book starts! It’s insane, but I was pulled into this story so hard! I couldn’t get enough of it, and it kind of leaves us on a cliffhanger, so I instantly picked up the next book when this one ended.

Ooof, okay, this is why I rarely pick up time travel books, but I've been wanting to try this out for a while. I got the chance to listen to the audio and off we went.

What a ride! I wasn't really connecting with the romance part. As much as I wanted to be invested in the present situation between Quinn and Nick, I couldn't quite get past what they were doing while being in separate relationships. So that took up a lot of my mind space as I was reading.

The time travel element was intriguing and confusing, which I feel is such a norm. I had soooo many questions about some mysterious characters that no doubt will be answered in the next book. Things really did pick up at the end of the book.

Quite a bit of angst in this one especially between Quinn and Nick, they have quite a history that slowly unravel. But there are a lot of missing pieces before we get the complete picture.

I look forward to reading Intersect and hopefully getting all of my questions asked.

Narration: I'm no stranger to Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke, they did great jobs (as usual) with bringing these characters to life. They were great choices for Quinn and Nick in Parallel.
