Earth's population has grown out of control so life spans are now limited... unless you choose to become a commune! Nearly 25 years ago Alex, Kate, Sierra, Ben and Mike choose to do this and there minds were combined into 1 body they can live for a combined age of 150 but only get 4 hours per cycle.
The premise of this book really intrigued me and it didn't disappoint! The 5 vote to go along to a death park where you can play games in an attempt to win more time to add to your lifespan so they can get upgrades with there next body.
Whilst there Kate accepts a deal that seems to go to be true and it turns out it is.
I loved how it went between the 5 different personalities/characters seeing how they spent there 4 hours and how they all start to turn on each other when Mike goes missing! It also gave quick flashbacks to how they all decided to be a commune as well as what happened in Montreal, which caused more rifts.
This book kept me guessing the whole way through trying to work out who was behind everything. The games they took place in where really good as well I liked you could try and join in with some to work out the clues.
As as said this book kept me guessing the whole way along and I actually gasped at the final twist at the end! I just didn't see it coming!
This was a great dystopian/sci-fi whodunit and is definitely worth a read
