This is a debut series, but you wouldn’t be able to tell. The emotions are raw, and the tensions just right. In this one, two MMA fighters are preparing for a big championship against each other, while also falling together. The interaction between the family adds more depth to what they’re going through, and I like the united front they present to the world. And that it wasn’t another one “the sport doesn’t support us so we have to stay in the closet” books.

A lesson in consumerism

Perfectly set up in a way to reduce unnecessary angst. Makes you root for the sexy AF main characters while introducing secondary characters that make you curious enough to purchase the fourth book. Colour me capitalist. On to Book 3.

Harbor and Theo's story was sweet, steamy, and oh so good. I really loved how these two built each other up and encouraged each other, even when they were fighting against each other.

I am really interested in seeing what is going on between Rory and Magnus. The sparks and tension has been there since the first book and I just need to know their story

Oh my God!! I adored these two in Age Rules and I kinda knew I was going to like their book but... this was better than I expected!!! I loved it!!! So good!! Perfect balance between a love story and MMA!

This is one of the best stories I've ever read!!! Frankly this is a great series and I can't wait for Vidar's story, but since I'm writing this review after having finished the 3rd book as well I can safely say that up till now this is the best of the 3 and the most wholesome!!!

The chemistry, the love, the banter between the 2 MCs was SO palpable!! It was amazing! But what was even greater was how they moved forward together through whatever obstacle. They used their words, they didn't let misunderstandings happen nor hurt feelings based on misinterpretations linger! They talked, they solved things and problems, they trusted and they moved forward!!!

WHOLESOME BEAUTIFUL LOVE!!! Bravo Mrs. Frost!!

I blew through this as I was so very interested in Harbor from the first book, I'm so glad I've just stayed in this little world. There were several times the author could have taken this to angst level 13 but they didn't because communication, communication is sexy. What the feck is going on with Vidar though...

Great second book in the series

Loved this second installment in the Open Wounds series. Harbor and Theo are great MCs and the author does a great job with character development and filling in their backgrounds. In the process we get more information on secondary characters we met in book one as well and some hints of what’s to come in future books.

I’m really enjoying this series. The characters are well written and the plot lines have been interesting. It appears that there is more interesting stuff to come as well.
