Well something about Alien snake men is just so attractive. And let me just say, I still haven't figured out how to pronounce his name but Vruksha was all "MAN", well as man as a half Snake man can be.

He was a giant walking Red flag and the shit he pulled would not have flown in the real world but in fiction land it was Hot. He could drag me off to freaking timbuktu if he wanted and I would gladly go just like Gemma. The Smut was good if I must say, very hot!!!

The book really had a great Plot also, Loved the build up of the characters and how they functioned in the story. Characters had nice depth to them which made them evevn more interesting. Def can't wait to read more in this series!!!

I didn't quite like V (I call him V because for some reason I find his name REALLY hard to pronounce), he's very toxic. Gemma was meh, at the beginning she was kind of independent and fierce, but then she just accepted everything without a fight. For a military woman she didn't show any resourcefulness or backbone, she just gave into him.
Another issue is the whole "let's trade the women for tech" thing. Why the hell did the humans take their weapons from them? Fucking idiotic, since they could have gotten more tech if the females freaking killed the nagas and took it. Which they might have been able to do if they had weapons! Made no sense. Instead, they forced them to what amounted to sexual slavery for all they knew and didn't look back.
The world is interesting enough to make me want to read more of the series, tough. I want to know how the nagas ended up on Earth, and what happened to the females. The writing style is good, and the story and the rest of the characters were intriguing.

I can’t believe I put this off for so long!

This book has been sitting on my kindle for over a year, but I’ve never really been drawn to it. Randomly, this past weekend I felt like reading an alien romance. After starting, I devoured this book within the day! It’s an easy read with plenty of steam, though because it’s an inter-species romance it’s important to note that it’s slow burn.

If you enjoyed IPB you’re going to LOVE this book. I’m already looking for special editions so that I can have this series on my shelf.

Gosh... I think I'm going to be one of the party poopers who couldn't look past how aggressive he was. Even though he'd technically stop if she said so, he would just force her later - because she didnt stop him - he wore her down/she just gives up. Eventually she says she loves him, but it wasn't believable for me. Also i'm not sure i cared about the underlying plot enough to want to continue either.
