I already knew this series was only going to get better but this book still knocked my socks off. It’s deliciously disturbing and utterly beautiful. The characters get more depth and the plot thickens. Can’t wait for the next book. Definitely one click worthy.

Such an amazing continuation of the first book. In book 1 you slowly get to know the characters all the players in the game and their struggles and everything, but in this book you can see them really evolve and find themselves.
I loved the character development in this book so much, Both Rose, thorn as well as even the smaller characters have a lot of back stories and their motives are so clear, other than few the secrets obviously still being kept in the dark.
In book 1, the darkness is very clear and I was scared that with Thorn and Rose now knowing each other especially with Ellis out of the picture that it wouldn't be quite as dark, but I was pleasantly surprised it was still beautifully depraved.
Again, don't read this if you're sensitive to dark themes, for anybody that does love that, Highly recommend it!

There we go. There we fucking go. Now this.. is the type of book I’ve been waiting for. A story that can get me in, pull in through and forget what time it is when I look up from the pages.

Thorn has truly, and finally, wormed his way into my heart. For most my loves, they’ve been in from the start, but for Thorn, he had to work his way in, and that’s why I think he’s special. The first book had potential, starting with the build up. But for this book, the second, it is glorious. This is amazing.

"You should know by now. The only one I’m interested in hurting is you." If you don’t know the context of this quote, you might think this is a serious threat, that you wouldn’t swoon at or find it settling... well... if you do know the context... you would totally find Thorn sweet when he says it. Okay, maybe not sweet... sexy? Maybe?

"Cut them."

“What?”

“Cut them. Hurt me. Take it away from me. I don’t want it. I want you. I choose you. Now fucking take it away.”

See how I’m not telling you cut what? :) no spoilers.

I thought I’ve read all amazing books I’ve needed to. Who knew I needed this story?

A brilliant dark, twisted instalment in this captivating series. The story delves deeper into Harlow and Thorn’s emotions and unbreakable connection, as their journey unfolds at a timely pace which had me on tender hooks throughout. Whilst Thorn reveals some truths about him, he still holding a lot of cards close to his chest and the air of mystery around him, triumphantly continues. And, what an ending! A stroke of genius that had my jaw smacking the floor and my eyes popping out of my head!

I have to admit that this series of books by Fawn Bailey scare the absolute freaks out of me and captivates me in a way I can't stop coming for more. It's unnerving how good of a writer she is and how, even though my brain says this is dark, twisted and wrong, I want to see Rose and Thron again and again.
This second installment of Rose and Thron series was just mind-blowing. If the first book and the prequel didn't give you a very good idea of how these books were going to go, I don't know what else to tell you. There is not one punch held back by the author. It's raw and it's crazy and it's disturbingly great. I don't know what it says about me that I'm hooked by the darkness/innocence and the thought process of the characters but I'm all in.
Rose shouldn't have run... Right? That's a question to ponder because I can't even put myself in her shoes for one second. Thron... he is just insane, right? I don't think so. There a reason for his methods and madness that I can sometimes see in the book.
An up and down of emotions and events that leave you fulfilled for the time being but wanting more at the same time.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, and I mean really twisted and dark romances with no holdback.
