The child-on-child violence in this story was very difficult to read. The Kite sub-story was awkward to me

Can't say anything about the technical details. I know nothing about how a book should be written....how a story should progress ? And frankly, i don't read a story for technicalities or style because i know nothing about them.

All i know is.....THIS BOOK HAS HEART and that appealed to me. It's storyline, situations, characters... grievances.....redemptions.
All i look for in a book is an experience or a journey. And THE KITE RUNNER has given me a cherishable one.

I  read this many years ago when it was first published. I remember it being a favourite and that I cried a lot. I just re-read it as part of a book club read and was reminded of why I cried so much.  Trauma after trauma 😪. 
But, despite all this trauma, sadness and betrayal, there is hope in the end.

This book ruined me for all other books.This is the the new standard I hold all my books from now on.like there was something in it that just make my eye balls flood.So i liked it I guess...
