This is a perfect little pick me up book when you’re in a reading slump. It’s cute and it’s fluffy without getting too deep into anything and the writing, although extremely cringey at times, (especially the bits involving enchanted) is good enough to keep you reading from the beginning to the end. The only gripes I really have about it is that the ending feels very rushed with a lot happening in the last two chapters alone. Like I have so many more questions left. Did Georgie ever find out what she wants to do in her life besides partying since she seems to be unhappy with her socialite life? Did Andrew ever figure out how overcome his emotionally stunted self and tell Georgie not only stuff that happens during his day but just stuff about him without being coerced? Did they’ve really get over all of their problems or did he just sing enchanted? It feels like there were so many questions and the book was just ready to end it with a happy ending. I have no problems with it since it was a quick read and it pulled me out of the slump but I do feel like these unanswered questions are the only thing that’s keeping this book from being a solid book.

Just what I needed to get me out of my book funk! I have never been disappointed by a Lauren Layne book. This book is so fun! Georgie and Andrew are complete opposites. She's chaotic to his calm. She's his squall coming in and turning his world upside down and I LOVED it. LL is one author I know I can depend on to deliver top notch stories, writing, and give me all the feels. 5+ stars.

I really liked this book for the most part. The banter between the main characters was fantastic.
I only had a few minor issues with the book. It was very obvious what the requisite problem at the end was going to be. I was a bit worried that there would be an ethics violation (him taking the case instead of giving it to someone else), but I was pleasantly surprised when there wasn't. It was a little frustrating that she never admitted she overreacted (of course he can't tell you about his job - attorney client privilege!) and the proposal at the end seemed kind of forced/unrealistic.
Overall though? I enjoyed it. :)
