Reading plays is so different than reading books. As I read Core Values, I could picture in my head the atmosphere in the room, the tension that existed among everybody. The feeling it gave me anchored in my gut and stuck with me the entire time I read it. Levinson is a master of flawed characters and spontaneous, painfully awkward yet realistic dialogue. I loved it, and I can't wait to read more of his works.

Nicely written, and probably plays even better than it reads. But thought Mike Bartlett's 'Bull', which covers similar territory, was better.
