This book dragged. Although is a remarkable improvement from A Theory or Justice. I do think he fails to meet feminist concerns and is overly ambiguous justice within the family despite it being a part of this basic structure.

While meandering and over-simplifying at times, Rawls creatively builds an argument for his society that rests on solid justification and eschews (for the most part) superlative analogies that under-emphasize the importance of building a just and secure political conception.

Difficult, but worthwhile, even if I'm not sure he's completely right - or wrong for that matter. A very empathetic and rational view of political life and culture.
