smut level: as always, fade to black / closed door
warning: talk about rape / attempted rape, mind control, mention of incest, flashback to abuse

I do love it when we get insight into Bran - his emotions & his thoughts.
And Coyote is just the best. Weirdly (un)helpful but still the best.

Honestly I don't quite know what to say with these books. They are all great. I have yet to read a book by Patricia Briggs that I don't like.
But seriously...the last chapter / epilogue? It broke me. One single page and I cried.

The end quarter of this book was very interesting and really made the entire book worth it.

Brilliant. Loved arc of Charles and Anna, and Bran and Leah's development is superb. Story was enthralling.

A little slow to start, but once the plot picks up, I had a hard time putting it down. Love the way Briggs handles magic.
