A lot of plot lines packed into this book. Interesting characters, found family vibes. I couldn’t quite get the measure of the FMC; she was incredibly quirky and it felt a little forced.

Wanted to read the book before watching the show and finally got to it.

I expected a cutesy rom com and it was a bit more boring and nitty gritty for the first half and double the adventure for the second! Both main characters were so much more flawed than expected and real, which was nice. And I've been going through a shift workers theme romance in my books as currently I do shift work so I got that little thrill from this.

It was still a quick read though even with the unexpected darker themes, if anyone avoids themes search for warnings before hand.

This is a slow burn romance. Very sweet and delightful. Great portrayal of real supportive relationships. The friendships were truly heartwarming and the deep kindness between the two main characters was pure. Such a comfort read.

My first one bed trope book and I rly liked it! I loved tiffy and Leon’s dynamic. It’s mildly opposites attract and worked out so well. All the side characters didn’t feel like side characters; they had their own life and color, were so fully fleshed out. Third act conflict was great bc it was more than just normal miscommunication, there’s a nuance to it.
