I really enjoyed this book until the end. I understand it is supposed to drop off in a cliffhanger for the next book, but it doesn’t feel that way. Instead it feels like the book just drops off with every question unanswered.

Okayyyyy I’m OBSESSED! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
The series is about America’s royal family (if George Washington had become king instead of president) and it gets an A+ for the vibes! It is just so fun and dramatic and I loved all the tropes!

I hated this book so much. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy hating it. It’s like bad reality TV that you don’t want to keep watching. I cringed inside as this progressed and started rooting for people I didn’t even like. Almost every character in here was the worst and it was an endless cycle of ludicrous drama being drummed up by characters who refused to communicate with one another.
Overall: a stupid book, but hey, at least I was invested enough to get riled up.

It was good, I stopped midway through for about a week picked it up and finished it in 2 days. I liked the concept and the execution of the romance although I feel like there could have been some elements added such as Teddy catching Connor and Beatrice together. My favorite ship is absolutely ConnorxBeatrice, and absolutely despise Daphne. Felt the whole Ethan and Daphne thing could have been shorter or completely removed.
All in all, it was a good book, could use some more immersive words for the setting. I like it nonetheless and will probably read the second one.

I think I liked the concept of this the best. The book itself seemed like too much teenaged drama. And I just couldn't care about the characters.
