Quite disappointed in how quickly the main villain was introduced. It felt quite anti-climatic because there wasn't a significant build up beforehand in how fearsome and terrifying Muzan was meant to be before his and Tanjiro's paths crossed. The best way I can put it was it was an "oh there is" moment for me, not an "OH HE'S RIGHT THERE, ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN" that I've previously felt when reading other series.

I do like that Tanjiro has more agency now because he is doing his own missions now and battling demons independently. The series is quite realistic in that many humans get eaten and not many get saved. This storyline upped my rating for this to higher than the previous volume.

Tamayo and Yushiro were interesting characters that were introduced that had some depth to them. I'm hoping they have more scenes so the reader can get to know them more.

The action is disorientating at times and can be quite hard to follow what's going on and where the swords have sliced. I'm hoping the author improves on this, as it impacts on my enjoyment. This will be where the anime excels at this.

Overall it was a decent instalment and I preferred this to the first volume.

Another solid volume to the series. It appears the series is now nearing the end. Some of the events that happened were definitely unexpected. It ends on quite an intense cliff hanger and I'm looking forward to reading the next volume.

The Final Battle begins, and I am guessing we are going full Dragonball on it given that we still have 7 volumes left and this is pretty much the end boss (along with his lackeys) to defeat and they have to keep fighting until sunset. Which should just be a few hours, so I am getting a lot of dragon ball vibes, it could take episodes and episodes for a bit of time to move. So I hope I can stick to reading it. For this volume it was a resounding HECK yes because it was one big rollercoaster and full of exciting and shocking moments. About Tanjiro, about the crying Hashira whose name I keep forgetting, a confrontation happens. We learn more about the master of the Demon Slayers, we learn a dash about Muzan. There are amazing fights. I am quite excited about the next volumes, but also worried that I may get bored because it takes 7 whole volumes for the final battle.
