i like the mmc, he grew on me and i liked the fmc.
i’m confused by a couple of things though, the daughter seems to be older than what she is? and i don’t know if the author realized that? also the fmc
but whatever! i will read other things by this author… (maybe)

in the first third, the dialogue made me cringe. everyone seemed so immature. i continued reading only because they're pakistani and so am i.
then, the second third. amazing. the chemistry between the characters was everything. the sexual tension so thick even a knife couldn't cut it. dialogue improved.
the third third. a bit eh. not as bad as the first third, but kinda boring. too much happening as well (cough epilogue cough). seemed like a cheap way to get the readers to want to read the next book.
anyways, alina and azeer are my favourite romcom couple.

to imagine it well, alina azlan is the fictional character for most of us; reads romance, loves men with money, and having a 2D character body pillow hoping he was real. she's such a baddie with lovable soul, i mean she loves kids! she runs a daycare! that screams MOTHER to me.
azeer khan was an ass, was, like annoying to the top. but his money made it up (jk, not really). alina would agree with me though. he's a great dad and i melt every time he talks to zoha in a very sweet way. i could write a whole paragraph about zoha alone cs she was THAT CUTE but hey the words limit won't let me, but she's seriously the most adorable!
the representation is top tier it even got my name as one of the characters though it's written differently but still that's like additional one star alone. but seriously, epilepsy as disability rep that was written so well and POC rep including pakistani and not just the character's ethnicity but all the culture and language too.
alina and azlan got that dynamics i love when reading romance. this book really deserves all the hype. the banters, tensions, they're all so addictive to read!!
also that ending? what is this miss sasha? a romance action comedy movie? she slayed and i'll be here waiting for the next book.
