As somebody who had an eating disorder at the same age as Jennifer this is the book I needed back then. I found it so interesting that she brought up the habit of someone with an eating disorder reading books about the topic because I used to do the exact same thing. There was one specific book I would check out and read over and over and I’m so thankful that there’s a book out there more focused on recovery instead. So many things resonated with me throughout the book! It also dealt with the harsh reality that some people just do not want to get better but those who do live a much better and more beautiful life than anything an eating disorder can offer.
