Predictable. I ended up liking Christian more than I thought I would, though I liked him less at the beginning than I did at the end of the first book.

Thank you Sharon J for recommending this series to me. This was not as good as the first book. The storyline was good. However, the heroine of the story was okay in this book. In the first book, I thought she was badass and sassy. In this book, she started to annoy me a little bit. She was not as smart as she was in the first book. I hope her characterization improves in the next book because I really did like her the first time, so it is sad to see a great character lack in the next book. Overall, an okay read.

Two weeks after joining Keystone, Raven Black is ready to take on the world as a criminal hunter for hire. If only her partner wasn’t a bloodsucking Vampire with a penchant for getting under her skin. Despite her lavish surroundings, Raven misses the freedom of life without rules. And Keystone’s next assignment is about to test her self-control in more ways than one.
I love these. I love Christian! He can make things pretty complicated.

It's pretty disheartening how obvious this entire plot of this book was, but at least the characters are somewhat enjoyable.
