Really enjoyed this story.  Really have to appreciate LeGuin's work and how it still holds up.

I didn’t get this book until almost the very end, but when I got it everything clicked. This is a masterpiece of fantasy - kind hearted, responsible and adventurous. I feel an idiot for not reading it sooner

The most plot driven book I’ve read! There is not much dialogue or character development at all, reminded me a little of Foundation because of that. Fast moving but hard to get sucked in to the world or story and the ending felt SUPER cheesy

3.5 rounded to 4.

While an interesting read, in many ways it was underwhelming. And the ending lacked a little more substance and explanation.

It was good, but not great. Hopefully the next book is better.
