One of my favorite Nicholas Sparks book this far! I loved the characters, they were so well developed and I definitely shed a tear at one point! I will definitely be re-reading this book (which I rarely do).

This is one Nicholas Sparks book I come back to over and over again. A great love story with amazing characters. I love the growth between Denise and Taylor. Friends to lovers, to enemies, back to lovers. Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes. No matter what, the characters are meant to be together and find their way back to each other in the end. Denise and Taylor were able to reunite and continued to grow their relationship. I love a good sappy romance and Nicholas Sparks never disappoints.

I usually don’t read romance novels that are this clean, but I did enjoy this one. I was sucked in right in the first chapter. I have a son who has a speech delay so I definitely could relate to Denise as a mom. Taylor…. sheesh. Nice man, but he had a lot of guilt in his heart. The way he treated Denise at times I was literally saying to myself if it was me, I would’ve been left him. People should work on themselves before involving others in the mix. 5/5 would definitely recommend
