A fun read with a healthy mix of povs. I liked seeing multiple characters perspectives. I appreciate the descriptions of places and clothing and items. It really makes the concept of wealth come alive to give these details. Main characters were loveable and sweet, and I was rooting for them to be happy.
Some criticisms: the story was slow to get going but then felt rushed in the resolution at the end. I don't feel like my questions got answered of "how will our characters adapt and cope with these big issues?" I also don't like how Rachel was set up to be an independent and strong woman but then in the second half just became a spectator in her own life. Definitely differs from the movie in that regard and maybe the movie handled it better. I wanted to see her get some type of revenge or justice.
Also, the family tree at the beginning of the book actually made things more confusing for me. I've never seen a diagram laid out in that way where siblings were arranged in a column and that threw me off.

I don’t like nick the leading man, and this is was more chick lit/family drama with too many POVs for me

They really were crazy and rich!
The writer has a very descriptive style and it’s cool!
Now I have to watch the movie again!
