I’ve only read a few stories thus far but it’s been more than worth the price. Absolutely loved LV Lane Lillian Lark’s contributions; both very unique wolfy interpretations.

A Step Between Realms - Elizabeth Austin- when Madeline leaves her ex behind and takes a walk into the woods she it able to go through the veil and meet the Orcs. I loved this short story.

Between Heaven and Earth - YD La Mar- Kannit ran into the woods to save her sister but when she and her guard Rith get trapped things start to happen.

Captured by the Wolven: Sweet Monsters - L.V. Lane- Ivy had a woven friend who she use to talk to everyday until he stop coming. When war broke out he rescued her or did he. This story so far is my favorite. She had me at themes of the book.

Caught by the Werewolf - Lillian Lark- oh this book is running for first but will be my second favorite story. Jack came to Belinda who is a witch to help him a curse. This story was very good.

Foxing - Ashley Bennett- wellllll....this just one one as favorite. This story is about a samurai named Kazuo. Kazuo goes into the Forrest to hunt before winter get to bad. He runs into a kitsune. This story was amazing. I can't wait for the full story of this.

From the Depths - C. Rochelle - Konstantin and Margo story is different and wow some of the twists.

Gods May Cry - Lea Jade- Wow this was amazing set up for full story later. Ríona is back ti her hometown and meets Kellan. This story held my attention as I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I can't wait for the full version.

Hookah Smoking Caterpillar - Beatrix Hollow- one story I love is a good retelling of Alice in Wonderland. Ummmm all I have to say is Caterpillar, Cheshire, and Alice this story was hot and on point. I would love a fuller story.

Incubus Dreams - Maeve Black- wow this book was amazing. Drew went into the woods but did she come out not changed? Well this little glimpse into a full story has made me want to read it so bad.

Into The Thick Of It - Clio Evans- Erica need a time out from life and rented a cabin in the woods. She found her mates Talam and Oisin. This was a good story.

Poison Games - Sienna Varrone - Malika and Dayton go into the woods where Stheno is. This is a Greek mythology and wow it was amazing.

Rooting for Love - Helena Novak & Natalia Prim- Jayda and Ellie in the rainforest. When Leon leaves gift for Jadya. This book is MFF and wow was it interesting

Sap, Snow, and Spile - Vera Valentine- Milia is picking up the pieces of her life after her astranged husband dies. She was meets Alsam and Sier and everything changes. This was a quick good story.

The Ogre’s Pet - Kassandra Cross- this book is short and hot. Orge's pet is just as the title say.

What Big Teeth - Salem Sinclair- omegaverse, red riding retelling yes please. Sigourney and Marrok story does end off on a cliffhanger for a full version that I can't wait to read.

Where Darkness Wanders - A.R. Breck- Poe ran away from her foster home and into the woods she meet Kai. This book does leave off on a cliffhanger so I hope we get a full story later.

Most of these stories were fun and good, but some were just way too out there in terms of character interactions to the point of being un-enjoyable. Skipped some because of that. Lower rating because a lot of the stories were ‘to be continued’ and incomplete. I was expecting short stories not baiting previews

This anthology is filled with 16 HOT & LUSTY short stories and they also have continuations sometimes If you enjoy the author. Stalk them and read more of their amazingness. Lol I'll go down the line. I've read the first four so far!!! And wtf they're awesome!!! Each one is so so so different and all Include the element so far of being in the woods... wandering into or getting lost. I love it!!! These may have some spoilers but I promise I'm not giving great detail! Read for yourself!!!! You will not regret it!

1st story
A step between realms by Elizabeth Austin!!
Omg. This girl is in a relationship and finds out she's cheated on while they're on the way to a getaway! Wow. She makes the amazing decision to get out and walk. Sounds like they break up. And she walks into the woods off the road!!!!

First of all I'd like to apologize to my mother for reading this. And now that that's out of the way, we're going to get into the nitty gritty. No long review for this anthology, there isn't much to talk about. It's all PWP involving various kinds of monsters. I'm going to post my overall rating and then the individual ones.

The only thing I didn’t like, was the her talk of ‘I don’t even know you, but i feel we belong' bleh, not a fan, but other than that it was a good read.

Character Ages - Madeline - 27 | Brizor - 29/30

I enjoyed this book, but the “to be continued” stories almost drove me to rate it much lower. I really got into a lot of the stories, some were not my cup of tea but they were still good and well written, but the ones that were TBC?! No! I’m sorry but in a short story anthology I really feel like you should write a short story, not a story excerpt to get us to buy the full book when it comes out. I wouldn’t mind seeing a continuation of the story, or the same story but fully fleshed out instead of short and spicy, but come on.

I was a fan of most of the stories in this book; however, some of them just weren't it for me. Overall I loved the concept of the anthology and would recommend if you wanted a plethora of monster romances with different types of beasts ;)
