Really enjoyed how this was written. And all the twists. Didn’t love the bit about the golden retriever but being an owner of one… I guess that’s to be expected. Glad they all got was coming to them.

I can see why they made this a Netflix series. Well-written and captivating. 

The American published version is changed to be set in CT but it still feels so British and I have no idea why they thought changing it was the move.

Some definitely trigger warnings but for a YA murder mystery, I think it’s great.

I did like the book; it was a quick read with short chapters and very fast-paced. it was just a little too nancy drew-y for me. I’ve had agggtm recommended to me sooo much that I was just expecting more, I guess. overall, enjoyable, but there just weren’t the unexpected twists and turns and jaw-dropping moments that I enjoy in thrillers.

I put this down as a medium paced read because I cannot accurately depict it's rate. When I first picked up this book I literally couldn't put it down for two days straight, every spare moment was spent reading.
