I enjoyed the mystery and the setting but the plot was a bit hard to believe at times.

I wasn’t sure about the story when I started the book. While it’s a mystery from the first chapter, it seemed too YA to really keep me interested in the story. I’m so glad I continued! While I starting the book feeling “Pretty Little Liars” I finished it thinking “Bomb AF mystery!” The flavor of true crime with the flair of personal relationships. Add a dash of suspense for good measure and you have A Good Girls Guide to Murder. Absolute hit!

This was SO GOOD! I absolutely loved it. I will say it made me laugh how many accidental Britishisms made it into the book which is set in the US but clearly written by a Brit. The story was fun and gripping and I was super excited when I learned after I finished it that it's a SERIES! Yes!

Easy YA read. One star taken away for the 20 year old man pining after a 17 year old and one star taken away for BARNEY.
