OW galore and I spent an Audible credit on it so I forced myself to finish it instead of DNFing. Heroine is a single mom but of course the only other guy she's been with is her son's deadbeat dad. The way the third act played out made this a 2 star read instead of 1.

This book was a bit darker (but not “dark romance”) than the others in the series. These two are completely opposites in personality but not in desire to be together and they had to work through that. They also each had a child that came into their life unexpectedly (hers through unplanned pregnancy and his through the death of a sibling)

So they had some extra struggles to wade through on their path to love and that was nice.

Their sexy times were amazing and unique to them which was fun.

The end felt a shade rushed though. They went from content in a new relationship to getting married six moths later. I don’t know how much more of their romance needed to be told though so that’s hard.

Ryan West —dude you are amazing with the female voice and the drawl and the levels of drawl. Sigh.... lol

There is a reason Erin Nicholas is one of my one click authors it’s cause she knocks it out of the park every time. Caleb and Lexi have been coparenting their kids, Lexis son and Gabe’s niece, for two years after they met in a single parents support group. Their mutual attraction has also been building and building for two years. Caleb feels like he is too old, 7 years older, for 22 year old Lexi and has kept their relationship strictly as coparenting their kids. When drunk Lexi makes a move Caleb is hesitant because he feels there is a hero worship at play as well as her being drunk. Throughout the book Erin shows us that despite Lexi’s age, she knows not only what she wants but that she is not someone that needs saving and that she chooses to let Caleb fix and help her when needed. Can over protective Caleb learn that he does not need to have every answer or solution and that it’s ok to lean on someone, to have a partner in life? As always in this series the kids are adorable, especially when Stella from book one makes an appearance, love her. Another great read!

This newest installment of the Boys of the Big Easy series does not disappoint! This was an amazing story. It was fun, sweet with some unexpected kink and I loved every minute of it.

Erin Nicholas has done a beautiful job with Lexi and Caleb, and their story is a pleasure to read. Their transition from friends/roommates to lovers is both sweet and unbelievably hot, and I loved them as a couple.

I really enjoyed this latest offering in the Boys of the Big Easy series and it definitely is as terrific as the previous books in the series. I cannot wait for the next book in this wonderful series.

I loved this. Absolutely. I think my favourite line... 'he's the ring bear'. Hilarious and perfect. I was anticipating that the other shoe was going to fall in a bad way... I could not have been more relieved. Happy sappy sighs. And, I am not particularly fond of BSDM ( and this wasn't that... not really )... but the whole 'Yes Sir' with Caleb... now that is something that I could definitely get on top of... or below of... or have him behind...

Nice and Easy is the hottest book I've enjoyed this year! I've been waiting for Caleb and Lexi's story and it was definitely worth the wait.
While fighting his attraction to Lexi, Caleb is dealing with life-changing news. Their interactions with the kids is refreshingly honest and invites the reader into their world.
This was by far, the steamiest book by Erin Nicholas, keeping me laughing and entertained the entire time. Caleb will win your heart with his dedication to those near and dear to him, while Lexi learns how to speak up for what she wants in life. Loved this story and am adding it to my collection as soon as the paperback is available!

Another grand slam from this extremely talented author! This wonderful book is third in the Boys of the Big Easy series and it features the ever bossy Caleb and sassy Lexi. I love watching a woman enter a relationship knowing EXACTLY what she wanted from her partner. I also love that he researched, with his friends, EXACTLY how to give her what she wanted. Lexi was much stronger than I gave her credit for. I did not like it when there was a past conquest or a future hopeful and Caleb let Lexi handle them. He should’ve just stepped in and made it clear that he was with Lexi but that’s just my opinion. The kids were adorable and played a bigger role in this book.

The story line was great and the characters are always fantastic. There was the perfect amount of angst and heat between Caleb and Lexi. The issues they dealt with were real and handled with the utmost care. I can’t wait to see who gets their story told next.

What a fun, sexy read! Caleb and Lexi are so memorable, as are their kids, Shay and Jack. I absolutely loved the parenting storyline, but the romance really sold me here. Lexi’s kink and Caleb’s way of embracing it is amazing. Shay was also a highlight of this book. I felt like I actually knew the little sweetie.

I have not read the other books in this series, so at times I found mentions of other characters confusing - my only gripe. This did operate well as a stand alone, but I would have appreciated and comprehended the cameos of other characters more had I read the whole series. Though this one did win me over, and I’m excited to read about James and Harper in the next installment!

I received this book in exchange for my honest review. Look for the full review on http://bitchbookshelf.com on February 16: http://bitchbookshelf.com/2019/02/16/1265/?relatedposts_hit=1&relatedposts_origin=1248&relatedposts_position=1
