3.5/5 i feel like.. if there had been more consistency with the humor, the drama, the anything- i would have been a lot more satisfied with this story. still-not bad for a short story

The Long Island Coven story here was absolutely lovely. The other two stories... so *very* not my speed.

I only read the first story.
The Wolf, the Witch and her lack of wardwobe.

I liked the story it was nice and sweet. Shelly Laurenston yet again makes a female character that doesn't take crap from no one and doesn't back down from a fight.

I finally had time to re-read this and I loved it again! Great compilations of stories in this anthology. I especially loved Sherrill Quinns little story (I loved the others too).
Can't say more, except: READ IT!

Read only the Shelly Laurenston - The Wolf the Witch and her lack of Wardrobe.

It was a good wolf shifter of the Smith pack story. Mangus, Pride and these two are all slightly intertwined but this seemed more a pride than Mangus. Strong, if a little self centered female, wanting power, but isn't that most of the men... so strong female that needs to learn what she really wants. Nice laid back until his inner beast is needed hero. I liked the conclusion of his father.

3 stars - I liked it

The rating is only for the story, The Wolf, The Witch, and Her Lack of Wardrobe by Shelly Laurenston.

Like a lot of Laurenston’s books, this was a fun paranormal romance with a lot of bickering and action. Jamie is the high priestess of the coven protecting Smithville and keeps everyone at a distance. Tully Smith is a wof shifter and mayor of the town. He is constantly amused by Jamie and finds her very attractive, but when he is tasked with preventing her from causing more problems he quickly catches feelings.

I enjoyed this couple and their antics. Jamie was a tough and powerful witch who wasn’t afraid to destroy an enemy, which I liked about her. Tully comes off as a carefree wolf but he is actually smart and cunning. I enjoyed this and hope Laurenston writes more about this coven because they are very tough but fun.

Again, I only read the Shelly Laurenston story. Great heroine and excellent relationships between characters; I think Laurenston does this really well. I do hope she revisits this series; I'd like to see what happens between Bear and Mac.

This is a very quick, somewhat incomplete review. I only read the Laurenston novella. It was great. Very much full of the Laurenston stamp: strong heroine full to the brim with personality, a hero who is simply delighted with her, tons of family and friends around who are all involved in the story. Fun read. I do plan to read the other two novellas but I got the book on the strength of the Laurenston.
