A cute, simple little Holiday Romp.

A mystery with a little romance, a talking squirrel, a Christmas Town, and a sweet found family.

I enjoyed this one.

I read another cute witch series so when I saw someone I follow reading this, I got really excited about it! So I decided to check it out myself. I was not disappointed!

I absolutely love all the characters of this book. And I love that it was a quick and easy read. This would also be a great book to read with my daughter when she's old enough and that makes me excited too! It has magic, mystery, and a little bit a romance. What's not to love? :)

Yes, this one was a bit hard to rate.

North Pole. Witches, vampires, squirrels, shifters, Mrs. Claus... Oh my!!

This was longer than I expected while still being short. It was a fun cozy and I definitely wanna revisit Holiday Haven. I liked Rory well enough and I think Bella did a good job with her characters but I wish she had spent more time developing them all.

There were a few mistakes throughout the book but it's alright. I'm just not sure why the author seems to refuse to use he/she. The amount of time she kept on using "my friend" and some other qualification to identify certain characters is kind of overwhelming. I get it but please...

Overall, I had a good time with this book and I will be diving into book 2 soon.

DNF’d at chapter 8.
I’ve been in the Christmas mood and wanted to listen to holiday audiobooks while working, and decorating.
I thought this would hit the spot combining my love of the occult and Christmas
Unfortunately I was not able to tolerate this. I was bored and none of the characters were interesting, the plot was eh.
Just not for me

If you want a seasonal cozy, that's not to deep, then this is a good bet. But I wanted more from it, and it had the potential to be more.

None of the side characters are developed to any detail, the plot has hole, and struggled to belive why the main characters was picked to solve the towns problems. The turn around of the main character was very quick, and we kept being told she was bad at magic, but its never shown. Any time she does do magic it works perfectly without effort.

Enjoyed some parts of this story, like the best friend group of misfits, but wanted more of them.

Cute enough Christmas story that combines Christmas, witches, and magic. Nice part of this Christmas tale is it wraps in several other misfit type fantasy characters, a talking squirrel
