A magnificent book about cats! Literally nothing else but cats, I loved it. That is except for the cat massacre in the beginning. I admit that it was tough to read through that part but overall, I liked the book. It was pretty interesting, so many cat stories!
I might have to think about my rating since I'm considering what 4* books I've read and I don't think this one can be put on the same shelf as them.
Edit: I take it back, I love cats way too much to not give them 4*.

As a Doris Lessing fan and a crazy cat lady I had to read this endearing without being sentimental.

Lady was not a good cat parent. Based on the description I thought that this was going to be a lot different but it kind of fell flat for me personally.

Ketika membaca buku ini mengenai kucing aku merasa bersemangat membacanya dan ketika mengetahui buku ini masuk kedalam tantangan bacaku Baca keliling dunia aku jadi ingin menuntaskan buku ini sebenernya lumayan lama juga timbunan sejak 2016 hahaha..
Buku ini lebih mengenai kisah penulis bersama kucing-kucing liar atau kucing yang menjadi hewan peliharaannya. Tidak sering tingkah mereka menggemaskan namun juga mengesalkan si penulis. Aku senang membaca ketika adegan mereka yang membuat geleng-geleng kepala. Tapi jujur sih ada juga penuturan cerita yang membuatku terkejut dengan tingkah laku penulis. Kalau aku jujur gak akan tega sama hewan berbulu satu ini. hati-hati ya buat pecinta kucing ketika membaca buku ini harus menyiapkan hati. Secara keseluruhan kisah-kisah didalamnya cukup menarik untuk diikuti

i was a bit taken aback with her stories about killing kittens and thoughts on why cats shouldn't be fixed, to be honest.

This book is opened with an unpleasant, brutal chapter, something not the easiest to stomach and I am not sure whether it would be recommended to cat lovers. The latter parts get more compassionate, but gosh, what a reckless pet caretaker she was. I personally thought I would really enjoy this book, but some parts turned me off. I can understand how the nature of this book became like this though. She was not taught the further benefits of spay/neutering the cats, and despite there were many cats in her childhood, she did not grow up in an exactly super cat-loving environment.
Anyway, on this occasion I want to give any that would read this a PSA:
SPAY/NEUTER YOUR PETS
Some may feel sorry for the pets to stop having sex and such, but in the long run letting them breed uncontrollably exponentially may equal murder to too many little souls in the future. If you insist, please think of the homeless and neglected kittens.
Anyway, on this occasion I want to give any that would read this a PSA:
