Positive message about passion versus work. Fun art and you can tell the creators loves their work. But a big forgettable with a dramatic character and side characters that fell pretty neatly into tropes and such.

This was very sweet, funny, and oddly topical in its references (where it still held up)! It's a standard "time to save the town with the power of friendship and love" but with a cool, cryptid twist. I really enjoyed the broad cast of characters and the smaller subplots, as well as the kind of corny names for everything. An easy, sweet read that was fun and meaningful!

This was a really cute graphic novel! I loved the paranormal aspect of it and all the cryptids.

sweet, some fun character moments, good message about your job not having to be monetized and doing what you want in your free time can be rewarding… but on the whole unmemorable. i couldn’t remember the name of the book 8 hours after i read it, forget about the characters

I was looking for a light-hearted pallet cleanser and this did and didn't meet my expectations of that.

While this book is not a happy go lucky story and does dig into what it's like to watch a place you love fade away despite your best efforts. It knows how to balance the deep lows with humor perfectly.

Paired with characters that very much make you want to root for their cause and you will for sure fall in love with. This book was honestly a blast from beginning to end.

This was a cute read about a girl who saves the day with a help of her friends and family.

I didn't like Louie all that much, tho. She seemed a little childish and naive and she was constantly angry - your regular teenager.

The art and the story were overall cute, tho, and I did enjoy it. The story was pretty fast-paced, I must say. I didn't expect it to develop the way it did.

A big thank you to Oni Press and NetGalley for providing me with an early copy in exchange for an honest review.
