----------------------------------
Meeting the Characters
Kitten - lover of a few guys
----------------------------------
What happens?
Kitten starts this book by being held prisoner by her evil uncle.
The boys rush in and save her with the help of the old alpha/her grandfather. She gets quite upset because she is to be the new alpha with all the guys as they are all her true mates. And she finds the new pack is living in really bad conditions.
Final thoughts
I want to know what happens next but this book isn't going to be my favourite this year. Its fine. Good romance. Worth to note in case it hasn't been obvious but this is a reverse-harem situation so avoid if you are not into that...
Would I read again?: Maybe

I have very similar feelings about this book that I did about book 1. I am still having a hard time keeping track of the characters simply because there are just so many of them. This one also was very fast paced and seemed to not explain what was going on very well. We went from a clean book 1 to book 2 having her mate to all 8 guys while also learning about her heritage, a kidnapping, murder, wolf pack dynamics, adopting a little boy, moving her family to a new state, and several other huge plot points. It all happened so fast that I can't really remember all the details. BUT I am still interested to see how it all plays out and I have only one book left so I will finish the trilogy. Surprisingly, the ick factor wasn't as prevalent in this book as it was in book 1. She has matured more and is acclimating well into the family.

Not boring, but there really isn't much action

Keeping My Pack was much more ... domestic ... than I anticipated. It wasn't boring, but there really isn't much action. I did, however, get a much better feel for the characters than I did in the first book. I'm still not sold on the writing style itself, and the missing words and editing errors provided a challenge. But the story remains compelling, and I must admit to a certain fascination with Kitten. It's almost impossible to predict what she's going to do in a lot of situations.
