I love Taylor, she’s great. I just hate everything about the plot of this book.

this book was a struggle, especially in the beginning. i didn't want to read it because it was BORING. let's put my opinion in topics:
- Conor: horrible at the begging, better at the end. either way, i don't forget some gross things that he said/though
- Taylor: she was an ok fm. that's it
- Their relationship: meh.
- Tropes: miscommunication was used not once but TWICE OMG!!!! also, there was also some faking dating going on but it was awful imo, especially because of Conor's reasons to do it
- Insecurities are also a hot topic in this book, from both parts
overall, this is a 1.75 book for me

The Dare was a great story in one of my favorite universes (and universities). I loved Taylor, and I also loved her friend Sasha. Of course, Conor was a great character too - I especially enjoyed how he would stand up for what he thought was right.
Starting as a fake relationship, Taylor and Conor got to know each other before they even made out, and I loved the slow burn of the romance between them. They were both new to a real relationship, though, and Conor was keeping a dark (ish) secret from his past.
As always, Kennedy's writing was wonderful, and the full cast of characters in the novel were well fleshed out.
