A beautiful story of friendship, loss, family, love, and the possibility of redemption.  Through Amir’s eyes we see the crumbling of the Afghani monarchy, the betrayal and loss of friends and family, and the struggles if adapting to life in America.  A heartbreakingly beautiful story full of tragedy and hope.

This book had me sobbing over and over again, it explores cowardice, loyalty and family with a heartbreaking, believable story.
