I feel like this book took me forever to read. It wasn’t bad - it was just odd. I’m not much of a sci-fi fan, but I suspect if you are, you’d love this book. I am a fan of Emily Henry’s writing however. She gives beautiful descriptions & paints lovely pictures with words. The characters were very likable & the ending surprised me. It was kind of like a modern day ET.

I loved all of the characters. Didn't expect feeling emotional reading this book. The book had me right from the beginning. There are a few questions still but the story's a pretty good one.

Two of my favorite things, paranormal anomalies and Emily Henry.

So why didn't I love this?

It was fun, the characters were flawed and broken, but loveable. Henry's writing is as amazing as always. The banter was on point.

Just something about this didn't sit right with me, it wasn't giving that four star kinda feel.

It's still amazing and I'd recommend to any Email Henry fans, it's very different from her normal content.

3.5 stars.
