I enjoyed Olive Kittredge and Olive Again so much more than this! The stream-of-consciousness format produced an aimless quality to the narrative.

As with the previous books in this "series", I was slightly underwhelmed by it all. Which this is just as disappointing to me as it may be to you.

This is partially do to Lit Fic being a hit or miss genre for me, and there not being enough intrigue to keep me invested in everything that was happening. It often felt like "this happened but then this did and it all was weird but also normal at the same time".

There's honestly not much I remember about this book besides being okay with arriving at the last page, and I have not thought about picking up Lucy by the Sea once...

If you're looking for the alternate perspective of some incredible humans that loved this one, check out @deedireads, Bernie, and Brett.
