informative fast-paced

3.5

This book, while short, gives the effective footnote version of the history of the Teutonic Knights. Upon completion this feels more as a starter to get a unfamiliar reader interested in pursuing more books and information on the Teutonic Knights; a book perfect for someone who is completely unfamiliar with the Knights and this period of history. It introduces the reader to important aspects of the history, ranging from the crusades to the late medieval age, that can spark a curiosity to explore the topic further in the future. For what this books provides, it is entertaining and interesting, but unfortunately, or possibly fortunately, leaves the reader wanting more.
