Too many crazy people. It was "ok" but I prefer novels where I can actually envision the characters. None of these people ever formed completely in my mind. Meh. Glad I read it but I was expecting more from this classic.

Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read this lovely edition of the book!

This classic isn’t one of my favorites. I find nothing romantic between Catherine and Heathcliff as Heathcliff is absolutely unstable and unhinged in his quest for revenge.

The edition of the book is pretty. I thought the art was beautiful and added a nice touch to the pages.

(Keep in mind I was 17ish when writing this review) Also read this in my senior english class, A.P. Literature. Quite hard to follow but it was interesting. Very abusive relationships in this book, and there is also a lot of passive (and not-so-passive) racism. I think I am going to read it again.

Excellent classic.
Such an odd relationship between Heathcliffe and Catherine.
I need to re-read this, as its been years. This was one of the first classic novels I was able to make it through!

I found the plot entertaining but found the melodrama boring at many points. I would find my mind wandered off when the story would go into a long-winded and overly dramatic section. The tragic love triangle is not bad when you think of when it was done but has been done better since.

Everyone is kinda of a spoiled brat, and really for no apparent reason, let it be plot or morals.
