This is a fantastic addition to this great series from the American Museum of Natural History. Photos and clear, engaging text teach young kids about the daily life and development of a baby elephant. Kids will be delighted by how adorable the baby elephant is and enjoy comparing her life to their own. The text allows kids to see similarities without unduly anthropomorphizing the elephants. Highly recommended for preschool on up.
